Chapter 4.10

It's during this bad time too, Jack came to the rescue the most. Jack was the guy I was talking about, fyi.

Having studied Psychology, he's been our sole confidant to the family. Without whose consolation, we wouldn't have been able to stand up again.

I knew him from this concert that I went to a couple of weeks back. He's few years older than me and is the owner of his own clinic. Don't look at his wardrobe though, he's the humblest guy I've ever come upon. Because of this incident, we're so close now.

Blessing in disguise? I don't know.

Chapter 4.9

Uncle O passed away.

This is too much of a sudden news really. I'm still trying very hard to grasp myself upon this. It's just last week we went out together for Quinn's 16th birthday. Now he's gone.

Accident, it is.

They had this annual concert together, and while driving home, Uncle O was apparently very drunk. He had too much of celebration because the concert fund that they gathered for this year made up to twice their target. Colleagues couldn't stop congratulating him. It's when he was going home it happened.

Persey couldn't retain herself really. Neither could Quinn. I've been trying to hold them back up. Thanks to Pepita and aunt O too.

I still can't believe this.

Chapter 4.8

I turn the big 3-0!

I've decided that I'm going to make the fullest of what's in front of me.

First thing I did though, was to go get a new haircut. Something similar to Persey, but dudette is blessed with the ginger color she has.

In conjunction with my big day, my little niece Quinn also turned 16. Being on tight budget, Persey and Uncle O couldn't throw her the bash she's been wanting. But we're bringing her out for a surprised dinner tonight! She's really pretty just like Persey. And such a nice happy family they are.

BTW, somebody's bringing me out for my big 3-0 celebration too. Details letter. Gotta on up my mascara and go out in a bit!

Chapter 4.7

Each one of us has finally moved on.

Beautiful little Quinn.

Isaiah and I... hh... we ended it even before it began. Janice and him are officially back together, and rumor has it at the workplace that they're tying the knot very soon. Is didn't even bother to come to talk to me after that. How broken hearted I am.. no word could ever describe.

Good thing that now we have a "girl chatroom" held amongst all the women in the house weekly at the park. I poured out everything to the ladies. From how we met till how we ended. I've not written any single thing about that have I?

Is and I met at this Science conference back then. I was the assistant organizer while he is also part of the team. We had to work closely because he had to source out for the suppliers while I had to coordinate the team. Just so happen that we had to go out just by ourselves pretty often to run errands. We just clicked in every conversation. It felt so warm to be around him. I was so shy to admit that I liked him, because it'd be my first time in my life. (I know).

It grew into a weekly kind of thing gradually. He would ask me out, for just a simple dinner or movie. We both like Middle eastern cuisine, so all we'd been doing is just trying the restaurants out one by one every week. I had to say when Friday came, all I looked forward to was just end of day. So that I could quickly see him again.

He almost never talked about Janice and his relationship. Which carried me to thinking that they're really over. But how wrong had I been. It's only recently I learnt that actually he'd been contacting Janice discreetly when we're still 'together'. Mom played a role too, because she tried to persuade both parties. But I can't blame mom for she didn't know.

Anyway, our 'relationship' started to fade when I spotted him going out with Janice the other day. I tried to ask him what's going on, but he's been saying that I was suspecting him. That I was all negative.

But oh boy guess what's the next thing I know? They're tying the knot.

Arrrrgh.

Chapter 4.6

Mom has left to visit dad yesterday. (well, if she finally agrees with us calling him 'dad' still).

It's a serene and peaceful kind of passing. Persey and I were left in awful speechless situation. We're brought up by her own two hands. She went through her tough marriage life no matter what. She's a strong woman by whom I'll always be inspired.

Persey seems to be having hard time letting it go. Especially now that Quinn also comes to learn the new term 'death' in her vocabulary.

Chapter 4.5

Mom has been sick. She's been refusing to eat. "Just not in the mood", she said. She's been confiding a lot in me that she has already started to feel old and yet she's so worried about her two daughters. I'm still not married, while Persey and the family is still so dependent on money. They are on the right track, but lots of times mom spots that Uncle Ocean looks sad, especially when it's early of the month when bills start to come in. But I told her everything's surely gonna be fine. Due to Uncle O & Persey's jobs, it's gonna be hard for them to become really rich. But as long as they're happy, we should be happy for them as well.

Persey made mom's favorite dimsum.

Little Quinn has been a princess in the house. She picks up things very quickly.

Isaiah and me haven't been in speaking term since weeks ago. He seems to agree to patch up back with Janice. I'm sad. But I've really got nothing to say if it really does happen. We spent quite a good time before though. He brought me to this really romantic place by the bay. We dined at this really expensive restaurant (which I shouldn't tell Persey I went there, 'cos it's her restaurant's nemesis) overlooking the entire Sims town. After dinner, he brought me walking by the way. Just the two of us.

Chapter 4.4

Quinn is a no-fuss baby. Persey is quite lucky to have her as daughter, we all take turns of taking care of Quinn, because Persey and uncle Ocean simply can't afford a babysitter.

On my side, what's been going on? I've been close to this guy called Isaiah from work. He's funny and definitely mature enough to be my *cough*husband*cough*. I click with him really well. He likes metal music, just like I do, he likes eating cobbler, and me too! That is a weird combination enough right? LOL.

He's my ex supervisor, currently working under my mom's team. Isaiah used to go out with Janice, also from work, and also who worked under mom before. Mom likes her very much and paid a deep sympathy when both of them split up. Janice still remains one good friend of mom too. Isaiah plays an important part in mom's team too because he's kinda like her right hand assistant. Now the bad news is mom is trying to patch Isaiah and Janice back together, so imagine if me telling mom straightaway abt what's been going on between Is and me, things would be so difficult.

But I'm not rushing either. Things will definitely get better. ;)
